Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 1, 2026
Last Updated: August 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Wonksknow LLC collects, uses, stores, discloses, and protects personal information when parents, guardians, and Students use EdPathway.

EdPathway includes the EdPathway website at https://edpathway-991u.onrender.com, parent and Student accounts, activity profiles, checklists, document-management features, calendars, groups, educational resources, paid features, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

EdPathway is owned and operated by Wonksknow LLC, which also operates YoungWonks. In this Privacy Policy, "EdPathway," "Wonksknow," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Wonksknow LLC and its applicable affiliates. "Student" means a child aged 13 or older whose profile or login is created and authorized by a parent or guardian.

1. Scope of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected through EdPathway. Separate privacy policies may apply when you use YoungWonks classes or programs, another Wonksknow product, an independent activity organizer, a third-party educational resource, Google Calendar or another external service, a payment processor, or another website or application. When you follow a link to an independent service, that service’s privacy policy governs its collection and use of information.

2. Parents, Students, and Age Requirements

EdPathway is designed for parents and legal guardians managing educational activities for children who are at least 13 years old. A parent or guardian creates the primary account and may create a Student profile and login credentials.

The parent represents that the parent is at least 18, is the Student’s parent, legal guardian, or authorized adult, has authority to provide the Student’s information, authorizes the Student’s use of the Service, and is responsible for supervising the Student’s account.

Children under 13

EdPathway is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly allow a child under 13 to create an account or provide personal information through EdPathway. Parents must not create a Student profile or login for a child under 13. If you believe information about a child under 13 has been submitted, contact privacy@wonksknow.com. We will investigate and take appropriate action, which may include deletion and account closure.

3. Personal Information We Collect

3.1 Parent account information

  • Name, email address, telephone number, and relationship to the Student;
  • Password or authentication information;
  • Profile image, city, state, country, time zone, and account settings;
  • Communication and notification preferences;
  • Support requests, feedback, and other information the parent provides.

We store passwords in a protected form rather than readable text.

3.2 Student profile information

  • Name or preferred name, email address, and login credentials;
  • Age or date of birth, grade level, expected graduation year, and school name;
  • City, state, country, or time zone;
  • Academic, research, competition, and extracurricular interests;
  • Activities selected, created, planned, completed, or removed;
  • Application, registration, event, and preparation information;
  • Resources viewed, accessed, saved, or selected;
  • Notes and other information entered by the parent or Student.

Parents should provide only information reasonably necessary to use EdPathway and should not enter government identifiers, financial credentials, detailed medical information, or other unnecessary highly sensitive information.

3.3 Activity, checklist, calendar, and reminder information

  • Activities viewed, saved, selected, created, or removed;
  • Activity dates, registration dates, application deadlines, and event dates;
  • Checklist names, items, tasks, target dates, completion statuses, and notes;
  • Consolidated planning and date-view information;
  • Calendar entries, reminder preferences, email-reminder settings, and synchronization status;
  • Records showing whether a reminder was generated, sent, delivered, rejected, bounced, or failed;
  • Resources viewed or selected and links or call-to-action buttons selected.

This information may reveal a Student’s educational interests, planned activities, deadlines, and general schedule. Avoid entering unnecessary sensitive information into notes or checklists.

3.4 Uploaded documents and document-management information

When a parent or Student uses document-management features, we may collect and store:

  • The contents of uploaded documents;
  • Filenames, formats, file types, sizes, and technical metadata;
  • Upload, modification, access, download, replacement, and deletion dates;
  • The account, Student, activity, checklist, or task associated with a document;
  • Document descriptions, labels, categories, notes, sharing settings, and authorized recipients;
  • Security-scanning results, storage and processing status, previews, and error logs.

Documents may include résumés, Student-created work, research papers, competition materials, certificates, awards, registration confirmations, schedules, preparation materials, transcripts, academic records, forms, images, and other educational-planning documents.

Users should upload only what is reasonably necessary and avoid unnecessary government identifiers, financial-account information, passwords, detailed medical information, biometric information, immigration documents, confidential recommendations, and precise location information.

3.5 Parent groups and community information

  • Group membership and the activity associated with the group;
  • Display name, profile image, messages, comments, questions, responses, files, links, and images posted;
  • Reports, complaints, moderation actions, and information voluntarily shared with members.

Before joining a group, the interface should identify what information may be visible. Depending on settings, members may see the parent’s display name, profile image, participation, voluntarily posted information, the associated activity, and limited Student information such as first name, initial, age range, or grade level when expressly authorized.

3.6 Google Calendar information

When a parent connects Google Calendar, EdPathway may receive permission to access limited Google account and calendar information needed for synchronization. Depending on the permissions requested and approved, this may include:

  • Google account identifier and email address;
  • Selected calendar identifier and OAuth access or refresh tokens;
  • Calendar-event identifiers, titles, descriptions, dates, times, time zones, locations, and reminder settings;
  • Synchronization status and information needed to create, update, or remove EdPathway-generated events.

EdPathway uses Google Calendar information only to provide the integration requested by the user. Unless expressly indicated, connecting a calendar does not necessarily synchronize checklist items or consolidated checklist views.

EdPathway does not use Google Calendar data to determine eligibility, make admissions decisions, build advertising profiles, target advertisements to children, sell personal information, or train a general-purpose artificial-intelligence model.

EdPathway’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. You may disconnect through EdPathway or Google settings. After disconnection, we stop requesting new calendar data but may retain limited synchronization, security, or error records when reasonably necessary.

3.7 Resource usage information

When a resource is hosted, embedded, licensed, displayed, delivered, recommended, or linked through EdPathway, we may collect whether a resource card or link was displayed; the resource, provider, activity, or category involved; its position or ranking; whether it was selected; access date and duration; progress or completion information where supported; downloads; associated parent account or Student profile; and technical performance.

For personalized, sponsored, promoted, affiliate, or referral-related resource listings, we may also collect campaign, placement, referral, or affiliate identifiers; the activity or profile factors used to select the listing; clicks and call-to-action selections; and information indicating that a trial, registration, enrollment, purchase, or other conversion occurred, when provided by the user, the applicable Wonksknow service, or an independent provider and permitted by law.

When you select an external resource, standard technical and referral information may be transmitted to the destination, such as the referring page, campaign or referral identifier, browser or device information, and IP address. The external provider may independently collect additional information under its own privacy policy. Merely displaying a third-party resource does not give that provider access to the parent’s identity, Student profile, private notes, detailed checklist or calendar information, uploaded documents, or group communications.

3.8 Payment information

  • Name, billing address, purchase details, subscription status, amount, and transaction identifier;
  • Payment method type and limited payment-card information, such as the last four digits;
  • Payment, cancellation, refund, and billing communications.

Complete payment-card information is generally collected and processed by an independent payment processor rather than stored by EdPathway.

3.9 Communications and support

  • Contact information, message content, attachments, support records, survey responses, and feedback;
  • Reminder preferences, scheduled reminder dates, reminder-delivery or failure information;
  • Whether an email was opened or a link was selected, when permitted and disclosed.

3.10 Device and usage information

  • IP address, browser, device type, operating system, device identifiers, language, time zone, and general location derived from IP;
  • Referring and exit pages, features viewed, links selected, access dates and times, session duration, error logs, authentication logs, security events, and performance information.

3.11 Cookies and similar technologies

EdPathway may use cookies, local storage, software development kits, pixels, and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember settings, maintain security, prevent fraud, measure performance, understand feature usage, diagnose errors, and evaluate communications. Where required, we will obtain consent before using nonessential technologies. Blocking necessary cookies may impair the Service.

4. Sources of Personal Information

  1. Parents and guardians;
  2. Students using parent-authorized accounts;
  3. Other users communicating through community features;
  4. Google Calendar and services connected at the user’s direction;
  5. Payment processors, authentication, security, hosting, storage, analytics, email, and support providers;
  6. Publicly available sources used to maintain the activity or resource database; and
  7. Wonksknow LLC, YoungWonks and other Wonksknow services, and controlled affiliates, where permitted by law and consistent with this Privacy Policy.

5. How We Use Personal Information

  • Create, authenticate, administer, and secure parent and Student accounts;
  • Maintain Student profiles and provide age-, grade-, or interest-relevant activities and resources;
  • Allow users to create activities, checklists, tasks, notes, dates, and consolidated planning views;
  • Synchronize selected activities with external calendars;
  • Generate optional registration, application, event, and checklist reminders and diagnose delivery problems;
  • Host, embed, deliver, license, display, recommend, or link to resources;
  • Personalize, select, organize, and rank resource listings using account, profile, activity, and resource-interaction information;
  • Identify YoungWonks as the provider of YoungWonks resources and administer sponsored, promoted, affiliate, referral, lead-generation, or revenue-sharing arrangements;
  • Measure resource impressions, clicks, registrations, trials, enrollments, purchases, and other conversions and attribute them to a listing or campaign;
  • Allow users to upload, store, preview, retrieve, download, replace, associate, share where enabled, and delete documents;
  • Apply storage limits, maintain backups, scan files, diagnose document errors, and maintain security or audit records;
  • Provide parent groups and display information according to sharing settings;
  • Process purchases and subscriptions;
  • Respond to support, send administrative communications, personalize and improve the Service, and develop features;
  • Detect fraud, abuse, malware, prohibited content, and security incidents;
  • Moderate groups, enforce Terms, protect users, comply with law, and establish or defend legal claims.

Where required, we rely on consent. In other circumstances, we may process information to perform our agreement, comply with law, protect legitimate interests, or protect a person’s vital interests.

6. How We Use Student Information

Student information is used primarily to provide educational planning and organizational services requested by the parent. We may use age, grade, interests, activity selections, activities viewed or saved, and resource interactions to display and prioritize resources relevant to the Student’s activities. This may include free or paid YoungWonks resources and free or paid third-party resources. We may also use Student information to maintain the profile, create checklists and tasks, display dates and completion statuses, provide consolidated views, create reminders, synchronize calendars, store and manage documents, allow authorized access, provide support, and protect account security.

We do not sell Student personal information. We do not use Student-profile, calendar, checklist, reminder, document, or group information to track a Student across unrelated websites or services or for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not knowingly serve cross-context interest-based advertisements to Students through their EdPathway accounts. In-platform personalization of resources based on information collected within EdPathway is not intended to be cross-context behavioral advertising.

We may use aggregated or deidentified information that cannot reasonably be linked to a particular Student to understand usage, improve databases and features, measure performance, and develop EdPathway. We will not attempt to reidentify properly deidentified Student information except to test deidentification or as permitted by law.

7. Activity and Resource Recommendations

EdPathway may personalize, select, and order activities or resources based on parent registration information, Student age or grade, stated interests, activities viewed, saved, or added, previously selected resources, resource interactions, location, time zone, deadlines, availability, and other account settings.

Resource selection or ordering may also reflect whether the resource is provided by YoungWonks or another Wonksknow service, whether EdPathway has a sponsorship, referral, affiliate, lead-generation, revenue-sharing, or other commercial arrangement, and other business considerations. A higher position does not necessarily mean a resource is objectively better, cheaper, more popular, or more suitable. Where a material commercial relationship affects a listing, EdPathway will use an appropriate disclosure.

Recommendations and personalized listings are planning assistance and commercial resource discovery, not admissions decisions, eligibility determinations, professional counseling, independent endorsements, or guarantees. Parents and Students should independently verify eligibility, quality, costs, deadlines, safety, and provider practices.

8. How We Disclose Personal Information

8.1 Service providers

We may disclose information to vendors that help host and operate the Service; store data and documents; authenticate users; send emails and reminders; process payments; provide support; monitor performance; analyze usage; detect fraud or malware; provide content delivery, file preview, file conversion, backups, disaster recovery, logging, or calendar synchronization; and maintain security.

Service providers are authorized to process information only for agreed purposes and subject to applicable contractual obligations.

8.2 Google and connected services

When you connect Google Calendar or another service, we exchange information with that provider as necessary to complete the action requested. The provider separately processes information under its own terms and privacy policy.

8.3 Parent groups and sharing features

When you join a group or use a deliberate sharing feature, information identified in the interface and content you voluntarily post or share may be visible to other users. Other users are independent persons, and EdPathway cannot control what they do with information you disclose. Uploaded documents are private by default unless the user deliberately shares them through an available feature.

8.4 At your direction

We may disclose information when you direct us to connect a calendar, share content, follow an external registration or resource link, contact a provider, export data, or authorize another integration.

8.5 YoungWonks, other Wonksknow services, and affiliates

YoungWonks and EdPathway are both operated by Wonksknow LLC. We may use and disclose information within Wonksknow LLC and its controlled affiliates to operate EdPathway, provide support, maintain security, personalize relevant EdPathway and YoungWonks resources, administer enrollment or purchases initiated by the user, measure resource performance, and offer related products or services. This internal use does not make YoungWonks an independent third party. We do not use a Student’s private documents, private notes, detailed checklist or calendar content, or group communications to select promotional resource listings unless separately disclosed and authorized.

8.6 Legal, safety, and security purposes

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, respond to lawful requests, protect a child or another person, investigate fraud, abuse, harassment, malware, or illegal activity, enforce Terms, protect security, or establish and defend legal claims.

8.7 Business transactions

Information may be disclosed or transferred in connection with a proposed or completed merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or transfer of EdPathway or Wonksknow LLC. Where required, we will provide notice or obtain consent before materially changing how transferred information is used.

8.8 Aggregated and deidentified information

We may disclose aggregated or deidentified information that does not reasonably identify a parent or Student.

9. Third-Party Activities, Resources, and Websites

EdPathway may host, embed, license, display, deliver, recommend, or link to third-party competitions, research opportunities, scholarships, educational resources, trial classes, tutoring services, registration services, and other offerings. A third-party resource may be free or paid. A listing may be included without the provider paying EdPathway.

If an independent provider pays for enhanced placement or participates in a sponsored, affiliate, referral, lead-generation, revenue-sharing, or similar arrangement, we may process the resource-interaction and attribution information described in Section 3.7 and disclose limited referral or conversion information as necessary to administer that arrangement. We will not provide private uploaded documents, private messages, detailed checklists or calendars, or unrelated Student profile information to an independent provider merely because its resource is displayed.

When you select an external link or call-to-action, you may leave EdPathway. The provider may independently collect IP address, device information, cookies, contact information, information about your child, account, trial, application, purchase, payment, or other data you submit. We do not control independent providers’ privacy or security practices. Review their policies before creating an account, providing information about a child, scheduling a trial, registering, downloading software, applying, or paying. Inclusion does not mean we have reviewed or guaranteed a provider’s privacy, security, business, or educational practices.

10. YoungWonks and Other Wonksknow Resources

YoungWonks and EdPathway are both operated by Wonksknow LLC. EdPathway may display, host, deliver, or recommend free or paid YoungWonks resources. Access may occur within EdPathway or through a separate YoungWonks website, registration page, trial page, login page, or resource page. Separate terms and privacy policies may apply.

We may use parent registration information, Student age or grade, stated interests, activities viewed, saved, or added, and resource interactions to identify and order potentially relevant YoungWonks resources. Because Wonksknow LLC may financially benefit from a purchase or enrollment, EdPathway will identify YoungWonks as the provider and indicate when payment, enrollment, or a separate account is required. A YoungWonks listing is not labeled “Sponsored” solely because YoungWonks is another service operated by Wonksknow LLC.

If a YoungWonks resource receives special promotional prominence beyond ordinary relevance-based placement, EdPathway will use a clear label such as “Promoted,” “Featured YoungWonks resource,” or another description appropriate to the presentation. Showing a YoungWonks resource does not authorize use of a Student’s private documents, private notes, detailed checklist or calendar content, or group communications for promotional selection unless separately disclosed and authorized.

11. Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising

We do not sell Student personal information or the contents of private uploaded documents. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of users under 18 for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not exchange Student information for money. Personalized selection of resources within EdPathway based on information collected within EdPathway is not intended to involve tracking across unrelated businesses or services.

We may use service providers to measure resource impressions, clicks, and conversions. For a sponsored, affiliate, or referral arrangement, we may disclose limited campaign, referral, transaction, or conversion information to the applicable provider or service provider. We do not disclose a Student’s private documents, private messages, detailed checklist or calendar information, or unrelated profile information for this purpose. An independent provider receives personal information directly when a user visits its service, submits information, registers, schedules, enrolls, purchases, or otherwise authorizes disclosure.

12. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to maintain accounts, provide Student profiles, activities, checklists, planning views, reminders, calendar synchronization, documents and resources, complete purchases, maintain security, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, comply with law, and maintain necessary business records.

Uploaded documents and associated metadata are generally retained while the account remains active or until the user deletes the document, subject to settings, plan limits, storage limits, security needs, and legal requirements. We may delete documents that exceed limits, violate Terms, create a security risk, are associated with a closed account, are no longer reasonably necessary, or must be removed by law.

When an account, Student profile, activity, checklist, task, or document is deleted, associated information may remain temporarily in backups, logs, or restricted systems. Content shared in a group may remain when necessary to preserve discussion continuity, but account information may be removed or deidentified. We may retain limited metadata, security, audit, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, legal, or dispute records.

When Google Calendar is disconnected, we will delete or disable stored access tokens in accordance with operational and legal requirements.

13. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, authentication, encryption in transit, protected password storage, protected cloud storage, logging, monitoring, account and storage separation, malware scanning where implemented, backups, vendor-security requirements, and incident-response procedures.

No online service, transmission method, or storage system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee that information or a document will never be accessed, lost, corrupted, altered, or disclosed without authorization. Parents should use unique passwords, protect Student credentials, enable available security features, promptly report suspected access, and retain independent copies of important documents.

14. Parent Controls and Choices

Depending on available features, parents may be able to:

  • Review and update parent and Student information;
  • Add, edit, complete, or remove activities, checklist items, dates, and notes;
  • Review consolidated dates and change reminder settings;
  • Connect or disconnect Google Calendar;
  • Join or leave groups and manage posts where available;
  • Upload, view, download, replace, label, associate, share where enabled, unshare, or delete documents;
  • Change Student credentials;
  • Request an export, correction, or deletion of account information.

Some actions may be available through settings; others may be requested at privacy@wonksknow.com. We may verify identity and authority over a Student profile. We may deny or limit a request where permitted to protect another person, prevent fraud, comply with law, or preserve security or legal records.

15. Student Requests and Transition at Adulthood

A Student may contact us regarding information associated with the Student profile. Because the parent controls the account, we may notify or involve the parent when responding to a Student under 18, unless law requires otherwise. When a Student reaches adulthood, we may provide a process to transfer the profile, obtain new consent, separate the account, or close it.

16. Communications and Marketing Choices

Parents may unsubscribe from promotional email by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us. Even after opting out, parents may receive operational communications concerning account access, security, calendar synchronization, registration, application, event or checklist reminders, documents, payments, groups, changes to the Service, legal notices, and support.

Parents may be able to disable optional reminders without closing the account. Disabling EdPathway reminders does not alter external deadlines and does not cancel notifications sent by Google or another provider.

17. California Privacy Disclosures

This section applies to the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, applies to EdPathway’s processing. California residents may have rights to know, access, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain sensitive-information uses, and receive nondiscriminatory treatment.

17.1 Categories collected

Depending on use, EdPathway may collect identifiers; customer-record information; characteristics such as age or grade level; commercial information; internet or network activity; general geolocation; audio, visual, or similar content voluntarily submitted; education-related information; inferences based on interests and usage; account credentials; and document contents or metadata that may contain personal information. We collect and use these categories for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

17.2 Requests

California residents may submit requests using the contact information in Section 22. We will verify requests using information reasonably associated with the account. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted, and we may require proof of authorization. We will not discriminate against a user for exercising applicable rights.

17.3 Minors

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 18 for cross-context behavioral advertising.

18. Privacy Rights in Other Jurisdictions

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, opt out of targeted advertising or certain profiling, appeal a denied request, and complain to an authority. Rights are subject to applicable exceptions and verification. Contact privacy@wonksknow.com and identify your jurisdiction.

19. International Users and Data Transfers

EdPathway is operated from the United States. If you access it elsewhere, information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in the United States and other countries where providers operate. Privacy laws may differ. Where required, we will use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

20. Automated Processing

EdPathway may use automated systems to organize activities, display recommendations, prioritize reminders, generate previews, detect spam, malware, or security issues, and support operation of the Service. EdPathway does not use automated systems to make binding admissions, eligibility, scholarship, employment, credit, insurance, or similar decisions about a Student.

21. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the Service, law, technology, or business practices. We will post the updated policy and revise the Last Updated date. If a change materially affects Student information, private documents, or Google user data, we may provide additional notice and obtain consent where required.
